We are not supposed to be alone, according to the Bible. After all, God made Adam, then took a rib from him to create Eve.

Sure, they did some things that they were not supposed to do. And, women still tempt men to do things that we are not meant to do.

Our brains kind of go out of whack when we get that particular woman around us. The one that we have the thing for and all the rules go out the door.

We are not supposed to be alone – Why Temptation?

God did say, “It is not good for the man to be alone.” So, why does he put us with the ones that tempt us so often?

Admittedly, I've stayed away from the women for the most part over the last four years. My ex-wife and I divorced three years ago, this March.

Thankfully, I am taking more of a Biblical approach to finding my future and last partner. I'm focused on the search for the one that will be with me until the day we part ways from here on Earth.

This time, I'm not looking for someone I can fix. I'm not even looking for somebody that isn't where I am.

I want the woman that already is a strong Christian, and will challenge me to become even stronger. I want the woman who loves the Lord as much as I do.

She is the kind of person that will pray with me, and stay with me.

What's in her heart is far more important than what is on the outside, and at the same time, what is in her heart will show up in who she is on the outside.

Being alone is coming to an end, and a godly marriage is on the way. I just haven't met my future love of a lifetime yet.

Remember, “Then the Lord God said, ‘It is not good for the man to be alone.” – Genesis 2:18 NLT
