When we created our website God in me, we wanted people to question whether on not God was inside them. What does it mean to have God inside you? This notion is simple yet complex at the same time. God in me plays a crucial role in our spiritual lives. It transforms who we were and what we have become. It is a journey and a guiding light in a dark world. God in me is a prescription to transform the soul and grow a new future.
God lives inside each believer. His power is like a roaring lion waiting to be unleashed. It is a powerful voice inside us that navigates our lives. Jesus died on the cross to live inside us.
If you are unfamiliar with the trinity, I might be confusing you a little bit. The three parts that make up the trinity are God the father, the son and the holy spirit. God is the creator of everything. Jesus is God's son who came to earth as a perfect God-man and died for our sins so that we could be forgiven.
What is the significance of God in me?
This Bible verse lays out the significance of what God in me is. What the holy spirit living in us is all about.
1 Corinthians 2:10-13 “these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.”
As Christians we live out God in our lives. We are connected to God through our belief in him. Our actions and mind are a reflection of God living inside us. The power of the holy spirit is waiting to be released in all of us. God wants to use us to further his kingdom. He wants a relationship with us. Our lives will be used for his will.
As Christians, God becomes part of us. He becomes the light in our soul. Others can see God's work in us. The importance of God in me is to let God's light shine to the world.
