Having a God centered vision is hard.  It is not an easy thing to do, because we are all born with a sinful nature.  A sinful nature separates us from God, plain and simple.  We reconnect with our creator by having a God centered vision.  What I mean is that we need to change the way we approach living our life.  Do we put things into Biblical perspective, or do we do it our way?  The Bible is the clearest road map to life that you will ever find out there.

Romans 8:5 “For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.”

We might not even know we are sinning when we are committing the sin.  Yes, we all choose to sin that is not what I am saying.  Sin occurs when our actions are contrary to that of God.  Having a God centered vision helps us catch ourselves before we sin.  Our reactions to certain situations can be turned from a sinful outcome to a Godly outcome.  How do we process things we see?

Is our first instinct to lie?  When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, do you lie and tell them something other than the truth?  Or do you turn your God centered vision into a God centered truthful answer?  We can process our thoughts in a sinful way or a God centered way.  Do we get envious of other people?  Do we put our hope in evil things?  For all of you Lord of the Rings fans, don't turn into a Schmiegel.

What does a God centered vision for life look like?

Simple, put God first.  When we do things that are pleasing to God, we eliminate sin in our lives.  Our thoughts and actions should be consumed by a God honoring vision.  Change your reactions from a sinful reaction to a Godly reaction.  Realize your mistakes and guard yourself from making these mistakes again.

When we put God first in everything, we will see significant changes in our life.

Romans 8:8 “and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.”

I challenge you to react to situations in a Godly manner.  Process your thoughts in a Godly manner and live a Godly example.  We will all fall short at times, but when we process our life with a God centered vision we will get back on track in no time.
