How strong is your faith in God?  Do you know God or are you just going through the motions? These are questions we should always be asking ourselves as believers. We should always be evaluating our life and reflecting on his word.

Busy schedules and distractions of life are always tugging at us and keeping us from Gods word. We get too short sighted and lose faith in what is important. One of the best ways to keep our life on track and recharge our souls is to dig deeper into the word of God.

Everything you need to know about life is in the Bible. It is amazing how Bible verses can touch us in different ways when we are going through various struggles in life. We could have read certain verses multiple times but never took anything away from them. When our life struggles cross paths with connecting Bible verses, we can lean on these words to encourage us and get us moving in the right direction.

Luke 6:48 NASB “he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.”

How strong is our faith?

Through faith in the word, make a solid connection with God.  The more we do this, the stronger our foundation is. Digging deeper in his Word creates a more solid foundation for our souls and helps us overcome seemingly impossible problems.

Being consistent and intentional about reading our Bible helps reshape our lives into God-honoring believers. Instead of putting the focus of how I can overcome my problems, we put the focus on God and find comfort in knowing that he is fully in control of our lives.

Reading our Bible does not require looking for a human solution for our problems but rather a God solution. God is perfect and always knows what is best for us. We just need to have faith and rely on God’s will and leave the stress to him.

Proverbs 19:21 NASB “Many plans are in a man’s heart, but the counsel of the Lord will stand.”
