When I was younger, I didn't understand what it meant to be generous with my faith. As my spiritual walk increased in pace, so did my faith. The more faith I have, the more I can do for others. Being generous with you faith can take on several roles.

When we are poor in our faith, we tend to be poor in our actions. Take for example the old saying “is the glass half full or half empty.” Depending on how you look at the situation, you could be right either way. When we are 100% committed to our faith, there is no void to fill. What if I told you that the glass is just full?

If we are all in for our faith and devotion to Jesus, then our glass will not only be full, but it will be over flowing. Having faith that is overflowing allows goodness to flow out of ourselves and fill others. Our well will never run dry, and we have a bountiful amount to share with others.

Are you generous with your faith?

Are you generous with your faith? That is a pretty simple question that ends up with a yes or no answer. Do you use the blessings in your life to bless others? Are you showing the love and grace that God showed to you impact others? When we are generous with our faith, others can see the light that shines in us.

Acts 20:35 NASB “In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’

One of the greatest things that we can do for others is to help the weak in spirit and faith.  When you come across someone that has a glass half full, fill their glass with what God has blessed you with.  Share what has been given to you and encourage others to do the same.  Your generous gift of faith may end up overflowing many other glasses.
