Satan Loves Evil Actions, Don’t Give Him What He Wants

satan loves evil actions

After the shooting in Las Vegas yesterday, it is abundantly clear that Satan loves evil actions.  One of the greatest deceits that Satan uses against humans is to get them sin.  He has many different ways to coax you into doing things that he wants you to do.  This is why we need a relationship with Jesus so much.  When we have the holy spirit living inside us, Satan cannot dwell.  He can only entice us to act at our own free will.

How could any human being commit such a heinous act against humanity?  According to local news coverage, 59 people are confirmed dead, and another 527 others were injured.  Just imagine what 600 people look like.  My graduating class in high school was only 300 people.  Our Church sanctuary holds about 600 people on Sunday.  Put this into perspective.  Can you imagine these many people being shot or injured at the same time?  As I said, Satan loves evil actions.  Nothing makes Satan happier than when we destroy other humans.  These humans are God's creation.  Satan hates God so much that he wants his creation destroyed.  He wants as many people to go to hell as possible.

Satan loves evil actions because it goes against God.

I wonder what was going through the head of the shooter?  Some reports are saying that the shooter had a mental illness.  Other interviews from the family suggest otherwise.  What I do know for sure is that the shooter most certainly did not have the holy spirit inside of him.  When you become a follower of Christ, your life changes.  When you accept Christ, you are filled with the holy spirit.  The holy spirit works inside of you to bear fruit.  The fruit that you bear helps lead others to Christ.

Satan loves evil actions because he wants to destroy you.  You are nothing more than a pawn in his sinister game of an eternity in hell.  Can you imagine what God said to the shooter when he was asked to give an account of his life?  See, our actions do not disappear when we die.  We have to give an account of our life.  When you meet your maker and face judgment, do you want to hear well done my good and faithful servant?  Or are you going to hear “I never knew you”.

Matthew 7:21-23 NASB 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’
