So little faith to fulfilling our dreams

How do we get through the day with so little faith? What happens when are faith is strong? How do we go from so little faith to having faith driving us past our wildest dreams?

Jesus asks Peter why so little faith

Jesus called to Peter while walking on water during an intense storm at sea. Peter got out of his boat and started to walk on water. Suddenly Peter questioned his faith and sank into the water, needing Jesus to rescue him.

“O thou of little faith, why didst thou doubt?” – Matthew 14:31

Jesus then asked Peter, “Why do you have so little faith?”

Why are we able to start out with so much faith on a path to walk on water, only to sink?

I am learning that when I launch fast, I need to humble myself at the same time. That way, I stay grounded, and I can go farther in my journey.

Few of us realize that we rarely if ever come close to reaching our maximum potential. If our faith is strong, we find the ability to do more than we ever thought possible. We believe that we have exceeded our maximum potential, but it is in us to do more when we have faith on our side.

If believing creates incredible results, why then do we choose to go against our faith?

Do we feel guilty for seeking and achieving success, so we sabotage our potential to avoid standing out?

The Bible talks about doing what is pleasing to God. We spend so much time doing what we hope is pleasing to humans. If we focus on doing what is pleasing to God are we not doing what is pleasing to people after all?

So little faith solved with pleasing God

Do you think if we do what is pleasing to God, we will avoid struggling with our faith? I think so.

There are a lot of questions in this post, and that's because I have many questions. Asking questions seems like an excellent way to learn and to grow.

These are the kind of questions I regularly ask and seek answers to through prayer, Bible study, and attending Church. And, I do get answers in many different ways.

So, if you find you struggle with faith, start asking questions, reading the Bible and experiencing God's love for all of us.
