Limitless defines potential when God is within us

Limitless Sunset

Last night, Colton Dixon's song Limitless, caught my interest on YouTube. The words are flashing across the screen, as the music played. All I can see is Limitless, and words of encouragement, overcoming the phrase that locks me in self-doubt.

My strength is limitless at times, overcoming incredible challenges, and yet self-esteem issues confront me at the most inconvenient times. The hardest and most ruthless judge I continue to face in my life is myself. It matters not what others think of me, as my own self-judgement does enough damage.

When I turned to God, I gave him complete control over my life, or so I thought. At least I gave Him control for the moment, but I keep taking that control back. So, when I listened to Limitless last night, I refocussed and went through the words in the song.

God is speaking to me through the message in Limitless. He is saying that I need to tear down the mountain that I have placed in my path. There is no challenge I won't overcome with Him. Now, I need to turn my self-esteem over to Him today.

We are limitless with hope

Walk with Jesus, have hope and receive limitless powers to do God's will. Swallow pride as I did this morning, and watch the unexpected happen.

My fears went unrealized, as I approached the situation, asking God to be with me and to give me the words. I even gained some self-esteem and overcame a hurt and a hang-up that I will use in my journey in the Celebrate Recovery program.

God is good, Life is good, even with all the challenges and mountains that I have to shrink. Now I am focused on overcoming the next mountain, and I believe I can do it. I'll let you know how it goes. And, I'll keep chipping away at my self-esteem issues. Overcoming these matters will completely change my life. That will make my abilities limitless with the help of God.

“Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” – Matthew 19:26 NIV

Just remember, all that matters is taking the next step. If we take the next step, we are one step closer to having the type of life that we want and need. We are one step closer to having a limitless palette of opportunity.

I realize that swallowing my pride, being humble and admitting my weaknesses is creating infinite power in ways I would have never thought possible. I am freeing myself from self-imposed limitations, and proving myself wrong, where other people have more faith in me than I have in myself.

If you struggle with low self-esteem like me, I suggest that you check out Colton Dixon's video for Limitless on YouTube. Read the words as the song is playing. Think about them and work through them. I know it will make a difference
